WHO WE ARE
Out the Mud Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity helping individuals and families move from hardship toward stability, opportunity, and hope.
Founded by Karletta Woods, Out The Mud Foundation is rooted in giving back and helping people find a way forward. We support individuals and families facing hardship by connecting them with food, housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare, and community resources while helping them find a pathway toward financial stability and lasting independence.
Our outreach includes helping domestic violence survivors find support, assisting seniors with resource navigation, distributing school book bags to children, and providing food to people experiencing financial disparities. We meet people where they are—with compassion, dignity, and a commitment to helping them build a stronger future.
Every generation belongs here. We welcome senior citizens, caregivers, and people of all nationalities and backgrounds. You deserve to be heard, treated with dignity, and supported as you explore your next step.
